The Flourishes challenge this week was to use black, white and another colour of our choice - as you can see I chose blue.
5 3/4" square base, covered with black Bazzill Bling. The next layer is white gloss card, stamped with the feather in Versamark and embossed with white EP. Then I sponged it with two blue distress inks - Faded Jeans and Broken China. The image was also stamped on the gloss card with black ink and embossed with black EP, then coloured with the same two blues. I also added some Stickles to the eyes in the feathers. It's layered up on more of the black Bazzill Bling, as is the sentiment. I made a small ribbon flower and added blue bling in the centre, and also on the sentiment panel. I like the background, I think I could have done better with the rest but I've had bad earache since Friday.
